2022 SEASON!  

The Wylie Football League will continue its position in the Recreational Tackle Football Community with The Allen Sports Association (ASA) along with Rockwall, Forney, Little Elm for the 2022 Fall Season.

Wylie players and teams will continue to register under the Wylie Football League website.  New Team registration will be required to have a roster of 15 players and will then be filled in by individual registration and draft (no try-outs allowed). Wylie kids will play for Wylie teams representing the Wylie community. All leagues involved in this partnership will follow the same rules and guidelines. All players will be required to provide a copy of both Birth Certificate & School Report Card at weigh-in.

Wylie will continue providing practice fields at Founders Park for all of our Teams as other Leagues may not provide practice fields for their teams. This has always been a added bonus for Wylie.

Games will be played in Wylie, Plano, Allen and Rockwall

April 1st - Registration Opens 

June 13 - Registration Closes for tackle teams

Individual Registration will close once teams are filled

June 16- Late Registration opens 

June 18- Tackle coaches meeting (Mandatory) Location TBD

June 19  -Teams may begin NON-MANDATORY, NO-PAD conditioning - 3 times per week 

June 28- Cheer registration and fittings close

July 1- Flag Registration closes for teams registration

July 10- Tackle Coaches Meeting if you did not attend June 18th

July 10  -Unlimited Practices Begin

July 15- Flag registration closes for individual players

July 16- Late registration is open for Flag players

Aug 1- Jr & Sr Flag Evaluations at Founders Park

Aug 7 -  4 Team Events per week

Aug 24-30  - Team Weigh-In/Certification

Sept. 10 - Regular Season Begins for tackle & Flag- Week 1 

Sept. 17 - Week 2 

Sept. 24 - Week 3 

Oct. 1  - Week 4

Mission statement

Wylie Football League a non-profit Corporation will provide children ages 4 to 13 the opportunity to play football as well as participate Cheer programs in the Wylie community. Through registration fees and charitable contributions from the community, The Wylie Football League will provide Parents of Children and foster children who could not otherwise afford the price of entry fees, and equipment would be able to participate in these sports through scholarships and sponsorship programs.   

The Wylie Football League’s philosophy is bringing a collection of young people together in a common setting of instructing them on the basic fundamentals of the game and instilling in them thru that process a personal sense of self-worth to themselves and their selves to the common good of the team and the team's goal for the season. Equally important are the areas of physical conditioning, psychological, mental, social, emotional, responsibility and spirituality of a player as well as all-around child development and leadership. To instill these Qualities that will carry them through-out their adult life.

Socially, The Wylie Football League would encourages players to interact and establish good relationships with individuals within the environment as well as within the community. The Wylie Football League encourages players to attain a positive attitude in their own abilities, to gain respect and trust towards other team members, and have pride in representing their Team and their Community. They are taught to act respectful to all individuals at all times.
