2021 Fall Cheer Registration

is Now Open!

WELCOME

TO

WFL CHEER

The Wylie Football League (WFL) Cheer program is a recreational program that focuses on cheerleading fundamentals and sideline cheering for our WFL football teams.  Girls do not need to try out and do not need prior cheer experience to participate.  ALL girls who register will be placed on a squad.  We place the girls on a cheer squad through a draft system and they are grouped by age/grade. Grades Kindergarten and 1st typically cheer for Flag Football teams and grades 2nd - 6th cheer for Tackle Football teams.  Exceptions can be made for cheerleaders who want to cheer with a sibling or for a sibling's football team.  We are a city wide league so each squad is a mix of girls from various schools surrounding Wylie.  All of our squads are coached by volunteers.  The WFL game season runs September through November each year.  Please read our FAQ's section and the 2020 Cheer Handbook for further information.
